I was rifling through Taylor's backpack the other day and pulled out all his papers. I glanced at his spelling test and noticed he got 7 out of 8 correct.
Not bad.
I usually toss his papers after I take a look but this time I left it on the counter. Dave came home and found it sitting there.
He came up to me and said,
"Did you see Taylor's spelling test?"
I said,
"Yeah, he got 7 out of 8 correct."
He laughed and said,
"Did you actually look at it?"
Me: "..................?"
So I took a look.
Gotta love this 7-year-old boy! I wonder if the teacher used the words in a sentence because if she didn't, #8 could technically be correct. Just sayin'.

Thanks for that Natalie. Annie spit all over my arm laughing about it. I think he should get credit. I mean, he spelled it correctly in the sentence.
