We have this cute little (strong emphasis on the word
little) tree in our front yard that we planted last summer. Well, with the last snow storm, this poor little tree darn near snapped in half. This is a picture of the tree before I went to bed. I was too cold to go out and shake the snow off it. When I woke up the next morning, it was bent
way over and not shaking it was no longer an option. It is being quite resilient, especially considering that we have it strangled in Christmas lights. Go little tree! Now let's just see if it makes it through the winter. It's got it's work cut out, especially if it keeps snowing the way it has been. Love the snow!

And just yesterday Dave said, "Did you know blue is the color of hanukkah?" So, not only is this our little charlie brown tree, it is also our Hanukkah tree. You know, because we celebrate hanukkah and all...

Hahaha - go little tree! Hey - how did the caramel bars turn out? People will love you forever for sharing them. Some friends in our ward broke their 6 month diet of no sugar to have one at our last party. I have to admit, I felt honored. Yikes - I'm boss hogging a bunch of comment space!
They turned out great. People liked them A LOT.
I think this is cute.
Happy Hannukah! We lit our last candle on our Menorah last night. And played the dreidel game all day today while eating latkes. Mateltopf!
I was lying. My best friend here has a Jewish husband so I get all of the lowdown.
But Shalom just the same.
Well, according to Brandon and Stephen we believe in Kwanzaa. Yes, supposedly they learned about it, colored a picture and sang a Kwanzaa song in school. That makes it REAL and if it's REAL,we are believers. This all according to my 5&6yr old.
