E-scent-tial

Dave's been out of town all week with my camera. I'm sure he will have something to blog about when he gets back. Needless to say, it's cramping my blogging style. Still, I must blog.

I love love love when my house smells good. I'm partial to the Bath and Body Works Wallflowers. I currently have this one: spiced cider. It is by far my favorite scent.

I also like sweet cinnamon pumpkin. I plan on putting that one in when spiced cider runs out. Perfect for fall! Next in line is cinnamon- it smells like Christmas to me! Those are my three favorites. I know that spiced cider is kind of a fall-wintery scent but I can't get over how much I love it so it's an all year round one for me. Love it!

I load up on Wallflowers when they are on sale for $5 each. A little secret- when they're on sale, go in and buy a ton, even if it isn't the scent you want, keep your receipt, wait a couple weeks till the sale is over, take them in and exchange them for the ones you want. Works like a charm and I don't have to wake up at the crack of dawn on sale day to get the scents I want. The good ones go fast! Only I could ramble on for this long about Wallflowers...

It's time to share your scent secrets! Do you melt it, burn it, spray it, plug it in? What does your house smell like? Garbage/dirty dishes/diapers is not an acceptable answer. I'm sure mine smells like funk beneath the glorious blanket of spiced cider but that's what I love about the Wallflower!

I too am a fan of the Wallflower. My favorite flavors are Creamy Nutmeg, and Warm Vanilla Sugar. I also love the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin or whatever it is.....yum!! I need to buy more! They are SOOO deliciously aromanating!

Okay, I love wall flowers too...However, for Christmas last year I bought some nutmeg and cinn spice and boiled them on low in a pan on the stove. This filled the whole entire house upstairs, downstairs, and the main floor and spelled soooo wonderful. When Ryan came home he even said something. Now everytime it starts to get cold he is the one to say "Hey, why don't you simmer some of those spices." You'll love it guys, try it!

So I didn't boil them on low...I simmered them on low. =) I just got back from a very long weekend/car ride. My brain is fried.
